1. Introduction and Data Controller

2. What Data We Collect

We process the following categories of data:

1. Identity Data: First name, last name.

2. Contact Data: Delivery address, email address, phone number.

3. Order Data: Purchase history, selected framing parameters.

4. User Content: Photographs and digital files uploaded by you for printing.

We do not store your credit card details. Payments are processed by secure third-party gateways (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). We only receive confirmation of the transaction status.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

Performance of Contract: Processing User Content (photographs uploaded for printing) and Order Data is necessary to fulfill the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): manufacture the Product, deliver it, and communicate with you regarding the order status.

AI Processing for Image Enhancement: To ensure the highest print quality and compliance with selected parameters, your uploaded User Content may be processed using automated tools, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms (e.g., for image upscaling or colour correction). This technical processing is strictly necessary for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We only use trusted third-party AI service providers who act as our Data Processors. Your photographs are strictly used for fulfilling your order and are NOT used by the Company or our partners to train public machine learning AI models.

Legal Obligation: We are required to retain invoice and payment data for tax reporting purposes in accordance with Latvian law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Consent: For the use of non-essential cookies or marketing communications, we ask for your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Storage of Photos (Important)

We understand the sensitivity of your Content. Your original image files and their enhanced versions are stored on our secure servers for 60 days from the date the order is fulfilled. This is necessary to handle potential quality claims (defects) or reprints in case of shipping damage. After 60 days, all image files are automatically and permanently deleted. We do not use your photos for advertising without your explicit separate consent and do not transfer them to third parties, except for the technical processing mentioned in this Policy.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We may share strictly necessary data with trusted partners who act as our Data Processors under strict confidentiality agreements:

Accounting Services – for tax reporting to VID (State Revenue Service).

Delivery Services (e.g., DPD, Omniva) – to deliver the goods.

Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) – for secure data storage.

AI and Image Processing APIs – strictly for technical enhancement of your photos before printing (without the right to store or use your data for their own purposes).

6. Data Retention Periods

Unlike photos (which are deleted within 60 days), transaction data (invoices, payer details, order history) are retained for 5 years (or any other period prescribed by the Latvian Accounting Law) to comply with our legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

1. Request access to your data.

2. Rectify inaccurate data.

3. Request erasure of data (“Right to be forgotten”), unless it conflicts with tax laws.

4. Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.

5. Lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija – DVI) if you believe your rights have been violated.
